Just drag all the navigation buttons to your title, on the left panel, to make it visible on every page. Lectora has Inheritance capabilities wherein all the objects you add into the main title will automatically appear on every page of your title. Additionally, all objects added directly to a chapter will appear on every page in that chapter and all objects added directly to a section will appear on every page in that section.
You can preview your title while you are working on by selecting the Run, Preview and Preview in Browser Modes in the tool bar. Just take note that if you use the Preview in Browser, all actions on the page are active, but because only a single page is published, navigation to other pages will not function.

You have to first ensure that the Lectora title is set to allow publishing to SCORM or AICC by going to the Title Properties > Content and select "AICC/SCORM/Coursemill...". Thereafter, click Publish on the Menu toolbar, and select the Publish to SCORM/Web-Based option. Follow the succeeding prompts to complete the publishing.

Yes, Lectora allows conversion of both video and audio to flv. You can do this by selecting the file on the editing screen, right click and select convert to FLV. It also provides an option to set the compression level.

Yes. In Coursemill, the main administrator can create separate organisation, each with their own respective administrator. Interaction between individual organisations is not allowed.
Besides the standard reports that allow the administrator to track the course data and progression, administrator can customised his/her own report based on using Query or View created in the existing database. These allow users to generate different combination of reports that are only limited by their Query knowledge.
Coursemill provides 3 choices of theme during the installation process. In addition a project file is included that allows users to edit the look and feel of the user interface in user friendly Lectora environment.
User and instructor can conduct real time chat which allows flexibility in providing an inclusive online and real time learning environment.
Coursemill comes with built in support for ecommerce activities. Students can purchase courses online; the actual commercial transaction module will have to be purchased from an accredited third party vendor.
First, gather up your serial number from your previous versions. Then, if you have a current Platinum Membership Plan that is purchased from eLC Pte Ltd, you can request for free upgrades.

Otherwise, contact our consultants to upgrade your previous versions with substantial discounts. Be sure to email your current serial number to our consultants for proof of upgrade eligibility.

You´re also entitled to a free upgrade if you purchased a previous version within 30 days of the new release (Studio ´09 was released September 30, 2008). Just contact us with your order serial number.
You can upgrade each product to the new version of that same product (e.g., you can upgrade Presenter 5 to Presenter ´09).

Also, if you have any individual products associated with other Studio packages, you can upgrade the package. For example, if you purchased Presenter 5, Quizmaker 2 and Engage 1 separately, you are qualified for an upgrade to Rapid E-Learning Studio ´09 Pro.

The upgrades will be quoted at a discounted price.
Yes, Studio ´09 is backward compatible and will happily support content created in previous versions. (But you can´t edit Studio ´09 content using previous versions.)
The previous and new versions won´t run on the same machine at the same time. However, you can still try out the new versions risk-free for 30 days and if you decide not to upgrade, you can easily revert to the previous version.

Here´s how:

  1. Uninstall your previous versions via Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
  2. Download and install the 30-day trials.
  3. If you need to go back, uninstall the new versions and then reinstall the previous versions.

We´ll even help you find your original download links to the previous versions if you cannot find your original installation files.
You can install the authoring software, for your personal use only, on up to two computers, such as your home and work computer, or your desktop and laptop. However, this combination is subjected to the approval from eLC Pte Ltd and Articulate. There is no restriction on the number of people who view your published content.
Articulate Video Encoder ´09 is only available as part of the Rapid E-Learning Studio ´09 bundle.
Go to Window > Default Layout, click on Default Layout.
There are 2 ways you can find your content:

  1. Go to your timeline and select the content you are looking for.
  2. Go to the bottom right side of the default layout, select the Outline tab, you will find all the content you have created there.
That is because you have not selected any text yet.

Select on the text, then you will see the Add Script button being changed into Add Effects button.
There is a bug in Flash when importing a SWF that has masking. Even though it may appear to be okay inside Flash itself, when Flash generates a SWF file, nothing is visible.

To avoid this, ensure that the [x] Mask off-stage objects option is turned off in the Export Movie panel.
  1. In order for any SWiSHmax created animation to work, both .html file and .swf file must be produced and uploaded to your web server.
  2. The HTML file serves as a container for the .swf file. It will ´refer´ to your .swf file.
  3. The reference tells the browser how big to display the file, and which player to use (this will always be the Flash player in SWiSHmax´s case).
  4. If you are adding a SWiSHmax animation to your web page, you will need to copy the necessary tags into your web page.
  5. To create both files at the same time, and if you don´t know html or don´t have an editor, you can get the .html page fully made up for you, by using File > Export > HTML + SWF
  6. Keep the two files in the same directory.
  7. Upload them both to your web server. Unfortunately we cannot give generalized instructions for uploading, as many web servers are different.
  8. However if you are using ftp to upload your files, you must upload the .swf file in binary mode otherwise it will be corrupted. All FTP programs have options for this.
